Thee Oracle performing at Brainlove Festival 2009: ‘Gathering slowly amongst people, their voices soared through the air and changed the space and vibrational pull around them.’ John Brainlove (the visionary with the guitar) gathered people together and slowly, what began with a simple E major drone, became a massive ball of harmonious/abrasive sound. People, mesmerised, joined onto the group, and everyone around seemed transfixed by what was happening. Christopher Alcock, musical maverick, provided sound manipulation in the latter stages of the 15 minute edifice (not technically the right word, but seems wholly appropriate). Best feeling ever.
